The Compliance Business Partner’s role is pivotal in implementing and maintaining a compliance program that enables the business to achieve its strategic objectives while ensuring adherence to our Code of Ethics, local regulations, and industry standards.
What you’ll do
- Implement and sustain an effective compliance program in Saudi Arabia, aligned with AstraZeneca's global compliance framework.
- Provide expert advice to the Senior Leadership Team on non-GXP compliance and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance measures are integrated with business objectives in Saudi Arabia.
- Drive risk management efforts, including mitigation of corporate risks such as ABAC, fraud, and data privacy.
- Lead Local Compliance Committee Meetings to embed a culture of accountability and transparency across the organization.
- Conduct training workshops and awareness campaigns to strengthen ethics and compliance understanding.
- Work closely with the Assurance team to identify and address compliance trends and gaps.
- Act as a DDPO, and work with Global Data Privacy office
Essential for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or a related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, healthcare regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
